Waikato University Science department are holding a Human Impact Science day on the 22 Aug. The biological science will look at biodiversity loss and ecosystem health, Earth Science department will look at human induced pollution and the impact this has on the Earth and the Chemistry department will look at ocean acidification as well as the damage done by heavy metals from intensive agriculture on soil health. Please e-mail me (email@example.com) or ask your science teacher to pass on your name if you are interested. I will need to confirm numbers with the University by Friday and then organise either the school van or a bus. The cost will be dependant on numbers going to cover transport costs, there is no cost from the University.
