Community Service opportunity
F7 (Thu 22 Feb)
Looking for a confident Maths student (or 2 or 3 ) who would like to tutor a small group of high achieving Year 8 students down at Mount Intermediate for Maths extension. You would go down there once a week during one of your study hours for about 40 minutes. Great opportunity if you are considering teaching as a career but it can also be for your community service. We usually run this programme for 2 terms only. See Ms O'Meara, F7 if you are interested.
Workplace Health and Safety Two Day Course

If you are interested in a Workplace Health and Safety Two Day Course (12/13 March) please collect a notice from Careers. This course will add lots of value to your CV to assist with future employment.
Total of 9 credits (2 credits at Level 2 and 7 credits at Level 3) The cost is $50.

School Hopper Service Changes to the morning run takes place from Monday 26th. Some times will be earlier, so check. Please check the changes displayed on the Hall door, Library window and A10 window.
Those wanting to trial for MT College 1st XI Girls team.......Tuesday 27th Feb..3.45 to 5.45 at Blake Park, Harbour side hockey. This trial is for 1st team GIRLS only. Other trials later tbc.

A student accidentally took the wrong jacket yesterday from the basketball courts. He now has a small jacket, his jacket was a size XL, so if you find yourself with the wrong sized jacket it could be that I have yours at main reception.
Please make sure that all Lipsyncs are no longer than 4 minutes.

Students need to please be vigilant when crossing roads on your way to and from school. If you are on a bike and crossing over the road, please dismount your bike and walk across when the traffic is clear.
Remember that you are to give way, not the other way around.

Senior students - please remember that you are not to park in the main staff carpark. This is for staff and visitors only and if you park here, you may find your car clamped.
Combined Assessment Planner
Your form teacher will be giving you a blank school assessment calendar. Please use your individual subject assessment planners to make a combined calendar that will show all of your assessments on one calendar. If you do not have an assessment planner for a subject - ask your teacher for one. The combined calendar needs to be returned to your form teacher by the end of roll check next Tuesday.

Strategy Board Game Club
Ready for some friendly competition? Interested in learning some new games like Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, King of Tokyo, and Smallworld? Board Game Club will meet after school on Friday from 3:15-4:30. If you would to join in please come go C2 Wednesday at morning tea to register your interest. Game day will likely start this week All welcome, no commitment required, come once, once a month or every week.
Any students wanting to train as a basketball referee...which could take you to tournaments and lead to a paid job for game nights with Tauranga City Basketball...please come and see Jen at student reception asap.
For all those wanting to perform in the Lip-Sync competition on March 14th, audition slips can be found in the student reception, and when completed can be placed in the wooden pigeonhole labeled ARTS COUNCIL in the student office.
ALL ACTS MUST AUDITION
Slips must be completed and handed in by Tuesday 6th March. Auditions will be held later that week after school on Thursday 8th March, and if need be will continue on into the following days lunchtime.
Information on buying tickets will follow in the next couple of weeks.
RUGBY - U14's - TRAININGS
A reminder that training's begin next week. These will occur on Monday and Wednesdays from 1.30pm - 2pm at the fitness centre and Monday and Wednesday after school from 3.15pm - 4.30pm on the field.
