Nau mai, haere mai, ki Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori!

This week we are spreading the word about the importance of Māori Language.
We're encouraging everybody to use as much Māori as they can this week, under the topic, Kia ora Te Reo Māori - Let Māori language thrive.

To help and encourage everybody to use Māori, we've got a major competition going on throughout the week, where we've got a UE Wonderboom and three $30 Bayfair Vouchers up for grabs!

You can get into the draw by
- being the first person in each class to give their form teacher the correct translation of a kīwaha (Māori saying) in the notices
- winning a round of bingo in the Whare during Monday or Tuesday lunchtime
- completing the kai crossword available in the library
Competition closes on Thursday, September, 14th, at 3.10pm, and only one entry per person.

On top of this massive week, we are finally selling our Māori burgers!!! We'll be selling them on Thursday lunchtime, rain, hail, or shine, outside the learning center for $4.00 each. Come along for an awesome feed!
