The RICH Film Festival is a new and exciting event that will give Mount Maunganui College students the opportunity to make their own film that can be played at assemblies to demonstrate our school values. All entries are due by 3pm on Friday 3 July and the winning group/individual will receive $50 for their efforts. Have some fun with your friends and come up with a video that displays Respect, Integrity, Co-operation and Honesty.
Unfortunately, the Junior Rave has been postponed until Wednesday 22nd July. This is in the first week of Term 3. We hope to see as many Year 9, 10 and 13 students there as possible so make sure you get a ticket to get involved.
Thank you to everyone who came and performed in Talent Quest last week. It was a great night. Congratulations to our winners, Jordan and Niamh (Dance Section), Alex (Music Section), The Bachelor (Drama Section), and Henry (Other Section). Also a huge congratulations to The Bachelor for taking out the overall prize on the night.
School Cross Country is this Thursday!
There will be prizes for best dressed, so make sure you dress in your house colours. The event runs from 1.15-3.10pm. Running is far from compulsory, so ensure that you're there to have some fun and get involved!
A huge thank you to Nina Lopes and Sarah Taylor for the amazing effort that was put into the Midnight Garden School Ball over the weekend. The event was a huge success, and a night that will be remembered by all for years to come. Thank you so much girls, you did such a great job, and you looked amazing doing it!
All Year 12 and 13 Students, this is the last day to pay for your ball tickets. Tickets are $65.00 from the Student Reception and must be handed in with a completed permission form.

Students from Tauranga Girls, Tauranga Boys and Bethlehem College competed in two categories, the 15 minute scene and the 5 minute student directed scene. Mount Maunganui College's 15 minute scene directed by Mr. Flanagan won their category and will be going to Wellington over Queen's Birthday weekend to attend workshops and compete further.
