On Wednesday 25th March, Mount Maunganui College held the regional Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Competition. Students from Tauranga Girls, Tauranga Boys and Bethlehem College competed in two categories, the 15 minute scene and the 5 minute student directed scene. Mount Maunganui College's 15 minute scene directed by Mr. Flanagan won their category and will be going to Wellington over Queen's Birthday weekend to attend workshops and compete further. A huge congratulations to everybody who was involved in the making of Henry V because it truly was amazing.
Last day to buy Easter Eggs tomorrow!
Bags of 6 eggs, plus a message, for $2 each. Buy them at interval or lunch outside the canteen tomorrow so that they can be delivered at form time on Thursday. Please support Sierra Leone and buy a bag of Easter eggs.

Today, Easter Eggs go on sale outside the canteen to fundraise for Sierra Leone. The Student Council is selling bags of 6 eggs plus a message for $2.00 each. They can be purchased from today until Wednesday 1st April at interval and lunch, and they will then be delivered Thursday 2nd April at form time. Send them to your teachers and friends for a fun way to celebrate Easter.
Tomorrow the Student Council is holding a Sausage Sizzle at lunch time to fundraise for Devon, a local baby who swallowed a battery, and is now in need of medical care that only Starship Hospital in Auckland can provide. Mount Maunganui College is doing their part to help this family in need so please come along and buy a sausage to support us.
A huge thank you to everyone who was involved in Lip Sync on Wednesday night. It was a great show and for the first time ever, completely sold out! Congratulations to Mary Poppins for taking the win.
Slave for a Day 2015 was a great success, raising $442.00 for our cause, The Harrison Mundy Trust. A huge thank you to all that were involved and congratulations to Tom Lopes and Grayson Straker - 'The Kooks' - for winning the first 'Best Slave' award.
